LAD5
Ladder Safety will help window cleaners who use (or intend
to use) ladders to do so safely. A key element of this course is the
profound impact that The Work at Height Regulations 2005
are having on the window cleaning industry.
The course aims to equip candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge
to recognise when the use of ladders is permitted under the regulations,
and how to justify their use by means of good risk assessment. The use
of Ladders Stability Devices (LSDs), and the employment of the correct techniques
when using ladders is also given thorough consideration
The content of this course is such
that it is as applicable to new window cleaners as those with many years
of experience. As the regulations now require employers to provide appropriate
training for employees who work at height, this course is ideal in order
to acheive compliance.
